Morning Star Children's Village

Morning Star Children's Village is located in an area called Sammuna Ber on the outskirts of the ancient city of Gondar in Northern Ethiopia. The initial phase was clearing the project site at Sammuna Ber to make it ready for construction. Construction work began in 2001 and was completed in 2003.

Water supply sources were established within the Village and electric power supply was connected as well as telephone lines. The once barren land of Sammuna Ber was transformed into a beautiful village and opened its gate in the first quarter of 2004 to needy and homeless children between the ages of 3 and 4.
